+Hardware™

+Hardware™ is an extension for TrainController™ and TrainProgrammer™.

The +Hardware™ extension can be used free of charge with all full versions¹⁾ of TrainController™ and TrainProgrammer™ purchased from November 11, 2015. To existing users of both programs the +Hardware extension is offered at a moderate upgrade price.

+Hardware™ supports new digital systems or new features of digital systems, which have been published after the last major version update of the Railroad & Co.™ software. +Hardware™ provides the flexibility to enable the use of new hardware features, which have not yet been taken into account by the most recent version of the Railroad & Co.™ software. In this way these new hardware features can be used shortly after their release and before the next major version update of the Railroad & Co.™ software is available.

In addition to the systems listed here the following digital systems can be used with +Hardware™:

Bachmann Dynamis Ultima
Tams S88-BiDiB-Link
DinaSys DTC Turntable Decoder

Furthermore +Hardware™ allows to use certain features of systems listed here, which cannot be used, when +Hardware™ is not installed:

Programming of Decoders with ESU ECoS Version 4.1.x or higher
Use of ESU detectors with ESU ECoS Version 4.1.x or higher
Maerklin Central Station 2 and 3: Improved connection as well as use of feedback modules connected via Maerklin L88

The term full version refers to the first (base) license of TrainController™ or TrainProgrammer™.
+Hardware™ is not included in licenses for upgrades from previous versions to current versions of TrainController™ or TrainProgrammer™.
+Hardware™ is also not included in licenses for upgrades from lower editions of TrainController™ (purchased earlier than the date mentioned above) to higher editions of TrainController™ (such as an upgrade from TrainController™ Bronze to TrainController™ Gold).
